Ju Young Kim

Ju Young Kim (b. 1991, Seoul, KR) currently lives and works in Munich (DE). She received her BA from the Korea National University of Arts (2017) and she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich in 2024. Selected solo and two-person exhibitions include: ‘Incognito Apartment’, Kunsthalle Mannheim Museum, DE (2025); ‘AEROPLASTICS’, max goelitz, Munich, DE (2024); ‘Drifting while Holding’ (with Bo-Kyung Jeong), Korea Culture Promotion Inc. Culture land, Seoul, KR (2023), and ‘Silver Tide’ (with Yuchu Gao), The Tiger Room, Munich, DE (2023). Her work was included in group exhibitions internationally at St. Matthäus Kirche am Kulturforum, Berlin, DE; Singapore Art Museum; P21, Seoul, KR; TICK TACK, Antwerp, BE; MOLT Berlin, DE and Print gallery, Tokyo, amongst others. Her work has been collected by Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, The J. Patrick Collins’ Collection and Alexander Tutsek Stiftung. Kim is represented by max goelitz, Munich, DE.
