Yanqing Pei

Yanqing Pei (b.1991, Foshan) is a Chinese artist currently living and working in New York City, US. Pei received her BFA and MFA in Chinese Painting from the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou in 2014 and 2017, respectively. In 2021, she graduated from Pratt Institute, New York, with an MFA in Painting and Drawing. Selected exhibitions include ‘The Shape of Time’ curated by Alice Amati, Lindon&Co, London, UK (2023); ‘Fifteen Leaves’, Prisma Art Prize, Contemporary Cluster, Rome, IT (2023); ‘Moonlit Beings’, Soka Art, Beijing, China (2023); ‘Terrain of the Skin’, Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China (2023). Her work has been exhibitedinternationally at IRL Gallery, New York; David Castillo Gallery, Miami, FL; Wilder Gallery, London, UK; Latitude Gallery in New York, among others. Pei is represented by Hive Center For Contemporary Art, Beijing China.
