Visentin Fine Art LTD presents “Pressing the ear against the ground I heard the far galloping coming near” - a group show of works by Tianyue Zhong, Maya Beverly, Sophie Ruigrok, Braden Hollis and Annice Fell.
The artistic approaches of these five artists, however individually specific to each of them, result in notions of movement, form and colour compositions that shun the explicit in favour of the evocative and redirect the inner gaze towards the spiritual rather than the mundane. Through a web of assonances leading to the ancestral landscape of the soul, the brushstrokes turn emotional, the palettes straddle on organic tones and the forms that rise to the surface reveal submerged forces at play.
